Cab Booking App for Passengers

After installing the app, the customer needs to register with the app in order to use the app for booking cabs. Once this is done the customer can easily access the services. Customers can check the estimated arrival time of the driver and can also track the driver’s location through the app.

Let’s see how this app works for passengers.

Search a Cab

When you open the app, you will be able to see the cabs available near you. As soon as you open the application, the GPS will be activated to track your current location.

Book a Ride

Now from the app, you need to generate a request to book a cab. As you have opened the app you can see some cabs around. Once a cab is found you can tap on the option ‘book a ride’.

After you generate a request, the driver will get a ride notification. After the driver accepts, you will be notified about the cab location, driver’s name, cab number, and the estimated time of cab arrival.

Ride Confirmation

Once the driver accepts the cab booking request generated by the customer the cab booking is confirmed. After that, the cab will come to pick you up from your location at the estimated time. You will again be informed about the arrival of the cab at your location. This means that now you can avail the ride.

Cab Booking App for Drivers

The app works in a different way for drivers. In the case of drivers, the UI is linked with the admin dashboard from where the admin can trace each and every activity of the driver.

Driver Hiring

Drivers are selected to dedicatedly drive the car on the basis of the company norms. The drivers get paid according to the company norms as the driver and the company mutually decide to do. 

Once the driver is hired, he just has to accept the rides according to the process and do the job sincerely.

Driver Dashboard

Drivers are assigned unique accounts through which they access rides and earnings. A driver’s dashboard includes information like the total number of rides completed, total distance traveled, and total earnings within the cab booking app. 

The ratings given by the riders are also shown on the driver’s dashboard as the ratings and reviews are also important.

Receiving Payment

Drivers receive payment once the ride is completed. This payment can be done by the riders in many forms like cash, e-payment, debit and credit card payments, or net banking.
